I live in pretty much central Morioka. Oodori is a five minute walk away and my second home is the Starbucks nearby. The Castle Site Park is only 10 minutes away and I plan on going there later in the fall when all the maple trees have changed colors.
Everything is pretty much 20 minutes away or shorter, it's pretty convenient. The neighborhood is quiet for the most part except for the occasional screaming election truck.
